Scott Stockman, of Stockman\u2019s Eggs, shared the unique discovery on Facebook, showing off a big egg of about 6 ounces in weight and about the size of an avocado. Compared to the typical egg size of 2 ounces, it\u2019s huge!\n
He wrote: \u201cOne of our Free Range Girls has been working overtime. Check out this whopper! The average egg weighs around 58gms and this beauty came in at 176gms!!!\u201d\n Stockman further told news.com.au: \u201cI have never seen such a large egg. It has got everyone baffled about why it happened.\u201d\n Stockman\u2019s Eggs later shared an image on Facebook of the giant egg cracked open\u2026 revealing a new mystery besides its colossal size: an entire smaller egg inside of it!\n The farm wrote: \u201cThere was an egg inside of it as well as a yolk!\u201d\n Many commented on the size of the egg, with notes about how painful that might have been for the hen, with one person writing: \u201cmust have a sore bum pushing them out\u201d and another commenter noting: \u201cthat would have hurt.\u201d\n Others marveled at the magnificent egg, saying, \u201cWow what a beauty,\u201d but others were very concerned, sharing notes such as: \u201cIs the chicken still alive?! Omg\u201d and \u201cthis is actually terrifying.\u201d\n Some commenters wondered if the large egg contained more fun inside, with one person asking: \u201cI\u2019m interested to know if it\u2019s a double or triple yolk? Surely at that size it would have to be!\u201d\n When the farm showed off the egg inside, the commenter responded: \u201cHoly wow! I didn\u2019t even know that was possible. How does it happen?\u201d\n The farm replied that they really didn\u2019t know why or how the egg could hold another treasure inside, writing: \u201cJust a complete freak of nature!\u201d\n Others commented on the impressive egg, with comments including: \u201cWow that\u2019s bizarre, never seen anything like it.
